Learning is enhanced when our wellbeing is nurtured. Wellbeing relates to our emotional, physical, social and spiritual needs being fostered. We understand that internal and external factors impact wellbeing and we strive to care for all within our community.
When explicitly taught, modelled and experienced, positive wellbeing results in motivated learners. This requires a personal responsibility to engage with each other and self-regulate and a community responsibility to celebrate and support each other.
Through the model of Christ, we treat each other with compassion and empathy to demonstrate care for the wellbeing of others. Through this, we create a community of disciples who can learn from and support each other, contributing to emotional and social wellbeing.
